Chardonnay is generally recognised as the world's greatest white variety, a versatile grape that produces fine wines in many different wine regions. The Blue Pyrenees Chardonnay 2021 has been created from 2 outstanding Chardonnay fruit parcels selected from mature vineyard blocks. 60% per cent of this wine was matured for 8 months in new and used French oak barriques.Traditional and contemporary tech-niques were used to craft this wine, notably some barrel fermentation and yeast lees stirring or battonage, which has added both complexi-ty and richness to the vineyard derived fruit flavours. The result is a medium-bodied crisp dry white wine with the classic complex flavour

Colour - Yellow straw with deep green hues

Aroma - Peaches, vanilla, toasty French oak and barrel ferment yeast complexity dominate the aromas

Flavour - A fleshy pear front palate, followed by a textured mid palate with hints of the French oak and crisp minerally acidity.

A long structural finish follows showing excellent persistence.
