A standout from the Saint-Emilion Grand Cruappellation on Bordeaux’s Right Bank, embodies dedication to terroir-driven winemaking. The 2022 vintage was defined by a challenging yet rewarding climate ; a dry winterand early spring led to uneven budbreak, followed by a scorching summer with temperatures offen exceeding 35C, concentrating flavours in the grape. Predominantly Merlot (90%) with Cabernet Franc (10%) the vines thrived on the estate’s limestone and clay soils—limestone imparting minerality, clay retaining moisture during the drought. Brief September rains provided critical hydration, balancing ripeness with acidity.

Tasting Note :

Color: A deep, inky ruby with vibrant purple edges, showcasing the concentrated fruit of 2022

Aroma: Rich aromas of blackberry, cassis and plum, intensified by the hot summer, are complemented by graphite and wet stone minerality from the limestone, with hints of mocha, spice, and toasted oak from barrel aging.

Palate: Full-bodied with a plush texture, it features silky tannins framing ripe black fruit, a touch of violet, and a subtle earthy note from the clay terroir. Vibrant acidity, preserved by September rains, add freshness, while the finish lingers with mineral-driven elegance and a hint of spice

Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months
